Drinking says hello to killer Hangover

Alcoholic drinks are available around the globe. In whatever continent you belong, there will always be an alcohol. This makes more people drink than don't, but whether you prefer whiskey to beer, all alcoholic drinks come with strings attached, the worst one being a hangover.


Excessive drinking says hello to killer hangover, but why do people still drink?

  • People drink because of social influence.

Drinking has become people's means to socialize. Let's say you are at a party and everyone seems to be a stranger – then, drinking with them is a way to bridge the gap. This is in fact very evident in young adults.

  • People drink to satisfy curiosity.

Regulation of drinking varies from different places. In US, 21 is of legal age to drink, but teenagers aged 11 to 13 are already exposed to this activity out of curiosity - what alcoholic drinks are, and its effects to the body. This is also prevalent in other countries.

  • People drink to escape.

Many people say that drinking relieves stress. This is one of the reasons why basically, people wants to drink – to relieve stress, or to at least reduce it.

"Too much of something is bad enough" – a quote that may such be a cliché, but it does make sense to drinking alcohols. Excessive consumption of alcohol can cause hangover. This exhausts your body's needed essentials like vitamins, minerals, and blood sugar to keep it healthy. More than anyone else, it is you who knows your limit. Thus, you know when drinking is too much.
